Hi,

Does amaroK ever touch MP3 tags when establishing play counts,
favourites, playlists, etc? It is implied (with the existence of the DB),
that amaroK doesn\'t do this, but I really need to be sure before I start
using it.

All that info is stored in a database, not the MP3s themselves.

The only time it touches tags is if you specifically change tags, via MusicBrainz or hand-editing.
