Really Impressive

Sat Jun 25, 2005 10:17 am
I can\'t believe I\'d never heard about this player until tonight, when I stumbled across it via a Slashdot link. I\'m just blown away by the features, the beautiful interface, everything. Even scripting?!?

This is easily the nicest player out there for Linux; nothing really compares to this at all. I was a big MusicMatch Jukebox fan when I was a Windows user, and I\'ve missed it. I think amaroK surpasses it in most respects.

Anyway...nice job, developers, and I look forward to future releases.

Thanks Dale, we really appreciate the comments.

If you want to get even cooler amaroK features, check out 1.3-beta1 or wait for beta-2, which should be hitting the shelves soon!

I actually did try the beta out, but it only seems to be in source form right now, and since I just switched to FC4, and thus gcc 4.00, I can\'t seem to compile it.
