amaroK vs XMMS - The Shootout

Fri Jul 01, 2005 1:54 pm
Linux Journal\'s Reader Choice Awards is entering its final voting round. In the music player section, we\'re seeing a direct shootout between amaroK and XMMS. Could be quite a close race, I think.

Many of these are really strange.
Comparing eclipse and gcc, or Inscape and the Gimp.
Apple and pears. :(

well, but at least inkscape and gimp are both graphic editing.

what is getting me upset is that inbetween 48hours KONTACT is defined falsely TWICE.

linuxtag calls it an email client.
linuxjournal calls it an office package.

never heard more BS, sorry ;(

A little off topic, but afaik they used the descriptions in the app\'s .desktop files, this issue has been discussed other places.
