Multiuser support

Fri Jul 15, 2005 11:46 am
First I want to say, I LOVE this application. I\'m a gnome user, but this is certainly the best music player do date. Good job guys.

One thing I would like to see though would be the ability to have multiuser databases. I have multiple users, but would like to use a single mysql database. I haven\'t actually tried this, because it doesn\'t look like it would handle it well. I\'m sure it will work, but I\'m it will start mixing stats. Basically I think it would be great to be able to do multi-user mysql database.

Also, I would like the ability to exclude subdirectories within a directory for the collection. I have all my music in one location, my wife listens to country.. i don\'t. I\'d like the ability to exclude country from mine and vice versa for her. I have a LOT of music and don\'t want to click on all those folders. Plus when I add new music i\'ll have to go in and add them manually.

Anway, Love the program, keep up the good work.
