It\'s nice to see the visualisations, infinity, jackday and such.
It\'s a pain having to turn it on each time.

How about a shortcut key. Or a way to start them whenever you play.

Or can you already do this?

Cheers,
Ian.

You can, KHotKeys does it again 8)

I use this command (to start finespectrum, in this example) :

amarok_xmmswrapper2 /tmp/ksocket-alanceil/amarok.visualization_socket finespectrum

You have to change the tmp-socket-path to your one, ls-ing the tmp dir while amaroK is running should help :)

However, you have to open the amaroK visualisations window at least once, because this will \"open\" the socket. (Any posts to the devs about opening the socket directly from start have been ignored  ;) )
