Adding Notes

Thu Aug 18, 2005 3:42 am
Since Amarok is using a database, I was wondering it was possible to add a Memo field to the table and then be able to refer to the Notes within Amarok.
That way a user could add useful notes against any album or song

Yes but is there a way of accessing the notes field from within Amarok?

In the playlist (the window to the right), right click on the bar where it says Title, artist, Album etc. Then you get up a list of information you want to show, then just click on the "comment".
But this writes it to the tags, not to the database?

Well, it writes it both tags and database like any other tag. However the database is used only as a cache to speed operations.
