Hi, I\'m closely following the development activities of KDE4 and wonder I didn\'t come accross any future plan/early mockups of Amarok parallel to KDE 4....

we just finished 1.3 :blink:

and we are planing a version 1.4, so it\'s too early to think about version 2.0

but we want to release 2.0 only some time after KDE 4 has been released, so we can ensure to use the whole sweetness of 4.0

so, you\'ll see mockups or what ever when they\'re done

Will version 1.3 be available on svn with updates for a while. Or this what I\'m downloading from svn is 1.4?

based on what I\'ve heard, new 1.3.* releases are being worked on now, with a release schedule of every two weeks... once bugs are fixed, simple functionality is added, the work will move to 1.4

Nah, amaroK 2.0 will start development in the latter part of KDE 4.0\'s release cycle and probably release at about the same time as KDE 4.0 (if not exactly the same day).
