sorry; i accidentally hit enter up there, and it posted a half finished and mangled thing.
at first i thought i didn\'t have the codec, but the files play wonderfully. amarok just doesn\'t read the tags. i\'m using amarok 1.3 compiled from source with ubuntu; taglib 1.4 also compiled from source. can anyone help? |

In order to add files to the collection the tags must be read for the file. Currently mp4\'s are not supported by taglib and you won\'t be able to add them to the collection, you will only be able to play them.
