I am a big time fan of amarok.
Just wanted to request :
A plugin can be developed for amarok like xmms that plays video in mplayer.
this would make amarok audio and video player although the conrols (global shortcuts ) would not be available )

why use mplayer? no good reason for or?

we could use xine as we also have a sound engine which makes use of xine

and the nmm engine plays videos so no need to develop a plugin interface for a plugin which does play videos if one of our engine already does
