It would be nice if you could configure amaroK to use something other than konquerer. As it is you get a rather unfriendly error message: \"could not find kfmclient\"

so install kde or ask god2, I\'ve never managed to edit the config

Why would you have to? I think kcontrol is pulled in via dependencies anyway, so just go ahead and exec it. If it fails for whatever reason, then \'kdeinit && kcontrol\' in an xterm should do. Personally I use windowmaker + tray-only kicker set to minimum width and I\'ve never had much trouble with either amaroK, kcontrol or konqueror. Regards, Mario |
