Odd Playlist Behavior on Deleteing

Sun Sep 11, 2005 8:54 am
It seems that when you delete a selection of songs in a playlist, the songs in the playlist get moved up to fill the rows vacated by the deleted songs, but the actual view, the songs shown in the window, in amaroK does not similarly get moved up.

That barely makes sense to me, so I\'ll try an example.

Let\'s suppose I have 1,000 songs in my playlist. Now, I select songs 200-399 and after I do, the amaroK window is showing me, say, songs 390-410. Now, if I delete those 200 songs, I would expect that the amaroK window would now show me songs 190-199 and 400-410 (where now, 199 and 400 are adjacent to each other). That\'s what I would expect, but that\'s not what happens. After deleting those songs, the window would actually then be displaying songs 590-610.

Does that make sense? Anyway, I always find it disorienting.
