It just struck me, that crossfading is fairly unnecessary when listen to a whole album. The transitions from one song to another should already be perfect. On the other hand I really love crossfading when listening to a random sequence of songs..

So what about the following:
Check if the artist of the next song is the same than in the currently played song and if the track number are consecutive ones. If it is the case, don\'t crossfade to the next song, if not, crossfade.
