Mp3 without ID3 tags

Sun Sep 18, 2005 12:36 am
Amarok currently doesn\'t import files without Id3 into collection browser. Is there a way (maybe script) that searches selected folder and subfolders, display files without ID3 tags, so you can add info to such tracks. I have plenty such mp3.

If you add all your files into your playlist (just drag your music folder from your file browser) you could sort by a field like \"album\" that doesn\'t get filled in without an actual tag. Then at the top or the bottom of the list you would have all your untagged files grouped together.

Amarok automatically fills title and artist tag to some songs without ID3, but it doesn\'t save them. Is there a way to permanently save such fields to ID3 tags permanently?
