so far, i cannot get any of my cd\'s to play. i am using novel 9.3 and i love linux but i have to return to windows to hear my cds.

the real player app will play one song at a time. i have checked my setup and sound is active.

please, any help will be appreciated.

Try the program kscd. There is an option in its configuration to turn on and off digital extraction, toggle that if it doesn\'t work at first.
