I would like to be able to exclude certain sub-directories from the database. I add my /home/jonas/music folder at 25 GiB, instead of manually adding all subfolders that I want in the db, because that is 24,5 of the 25 GiB.
So I suggest that one could put an empty text file, like \".noamarok\" in a directory to exclude it from the database. //Jonas |

Prepend a . on directories you don\'t want scanned.

how difficult is it to uncheck a directory name from a tree compared to making/copying a .noamarok file manually to each of those directories???

eean: Thank you, I didn\'t know about that.
venkatu: It\'s not possible to uncheck directories if a directory at a lower level is checked. If I check /home/jonas/media, I cannot uncheck /home/jonas/media/hello. Or am I wrong? |
