i have a remix cd here with assemblage 23 tracks...

usually I tag my remixes like this

informatik - a matter of time (assemblage 23 remix)
seabound - contact (assemblage 23 remix)

and so on...

but this is a compilation now!

can I tag it so that...
a) the artist is always the band name (like informatik, seabound, the azoic, flesh field...)
b) it shows up as 1 album of assemblage 23 (!) at the same time

when i tag it like above, i\'ll have a tons of albums in my share, like...

informatik - remix collection
seabound - remix collection
the azoic - remix collection

...no? this sucks...it should show up as one album from assemblage 23 but yet i want to have the correct artist (seabound, informatik...) in the artist field!

(those are not assemblage23 songs, just remixes, you see...)

so, is this possible? will it help when i mark it as a compilation? how can i do it?

If you put all that songs into one folder with the compilation\'s name in the album tag field, amaroK should recognize as a compilation without a problem (works here!).

Otherwise in the collection tab make a right clock on the album and mark it as a collection (it will then show up in various artists and also for each band)
