I\'ve just discovered Autopackage, and for those that don\'t know autopackage is a piece of software that allows to create a package that will work on any distro. All you would have to do is download the amarok autopackage file, double click it and a script will then download the autopackage software, if it isn\'t already installed and any dependencies needed. The main advantage is only one package is needed as opposed to the numerous ones amarok has now.

I think this is what linux has been missing and a project as popular as amarok should have on. Anyway, some one who maintains one of the packages should check it out, it might have some shortcomings that I\'m unaware of.
