amarok issue on osX.3

Mon Nov 07, 2005 11:20 am
Hi,
I have installed amarok through fink on osX, it took a long time to compile all the necessary packages and now, amarok lauches through an Xterm window, everything seems to wrk so far.
The issue is that I get the error message:
[code:1](process:17796): GStreamer-CRITICAL **: how to remove plugins?

(process:17796): GStreamer-CRITICAL **: Factory for `id3demuxbin\' has no type. This probably means the plugin wasn\'t found because the registry is broken.
The plugin GStreamer was looking for is named \'mad\' and is expected in file \'/sw/lib/gstreamer-0.8/libgstmad.so\'.
The registry for this plugin is located at \'/sw/var/cache/gstreamer-0.8/registry.xml\'
DCOP: unregister \'amarok\'
Bus error
[/code:1]
when I try to put any of my mp3 file into the collection window.
Then amarok crashes.
When I try to stream something, it tells me to be sure to have ogg or mp3 plugin installed in gstreamer.
I have them !
I have tried gstreamer-register, gstreamer inspect mad, receiving no error message...
Does anybody has an idea ?
(gstreamer-mad package doesn\'t exist in fink)
thx
