amarok-1.3.6-1 on SUSE 10 is not able to play m4p or mp4 files.
I am using gstreamer engine. Also tried Xine engine,
I am unable to find gstreamer-faad or gstreamer-ffmpeg rpms for suse 10.

Don\'t m4p files have digital protection?

Xine is generally able to do it. Sounds like you already know what you need for gstreamer.

use the xine form packman.org or try to find a gst plugin at rpm.pbone.net
