Organize mp3s / rename mp3s

Sat Nov 19, 2005 2:42 pm
Hi everybody,

I\'m new to amaroK and I want to know if somebody can help me with my problem:

My mp3-collection is about 2000 songs and many of them have wrong ID3-Tag (e.g. name of the artist is spelled wrong etc.)
So amaroK aranges the files wrong. Is there a possibility to correct the ID3-Tags automatically via cddb? Eventual only with little impact for me?

Or any other idea?

Thanks in advance

Not possible with cddb as far as i know, but you could use musicbrainz for this...

Right click a song -> edit track information -> fill in track information using Musicbrainz

i can recommend "easytag" to grab stuff from CDDB and manage your tags. Great software ...
