hey there im completely new to this, i have many songs in Chinese,Japanese and Korean but it doenst show their names properly i cant read them on amaroK, any suggestions what i should do?or do i need to install anything to support the languages?thanx..

errr..no..im just using amaroK in Kde, and it doesnt show any asian language, well not properly, it shows some tho i duno why...

Perhaps you have MP3 files with the old ID3-V1 metadata format. This format does not support encodings in any meaningful way, it\'s all just ASCII text.
Use a tool like Easytag to convert them to ID3-V2, using UTF-8 with your proper encoding.
