my ipod doesn\'t play much more than mp3. my music collection contains mp3, ogg and flac.
Does anyone have a work flow for keeping flac and ogg from being copied to my ipod using amarok? at the moment, the only way i know to find out what format a file is, is to right click -> edit, and check the filename. This is tedious when copying 500+ files at a time. at then i follow up with: file /media/ipod//iPod_Control/Music/*/* | grep -v MP3 and then delete the non mp3 files. there must be an easier way.... |

in amarok 1.4 (a first beta was just released) this will be easier:
- instead of copying flacs and oggs, amarok just complains - you can select the files to list in your collection by filetype - set the filter to \"filetype:mp3\" in the collection view |
