It fixed my iPod - what more can I say!!!!

You should publicise this link though:

I originally thought the slow transfer to my iPod was down to amaroK, in fact it\'s down to a stupid default setting in SuSE 10. Turn off synchronous USB transfers and let the good times roll!!!!

Keep up the great work - amaroK beats iTunes any day of the week.

yeah... did you apply the "patch" for the unmounting ???

How do you apply it ?? Im stuck there

Patch for unmounting?

amaroK does that automatically when you press "Disconnect".

I also added chmod +s to the "eject" executable, as only root was able to use it and it's required to release the iPod.  I suspect it might be a horrible security hazard, though...
