Feature Request: Shuffle Tag

Wed Mar 15, 2006 12:44 am
Does Amarok support the shuffle tag? (is that the right term?)

I\'m referring to the checkbox next to a song on the ipod in itunes, or in gtkpod.

The purpose of that checkbox is to include the song in \'shuffle mod\', which all ipods support (not just the shuffle).

It\'s useful when you have a comedy album for example, and you don\'t want it to be included when you\'re shuffling all the songs on the ipod. You just \'uncheck\' all the tracks from that album, and the shuffle mode will never select it.

So, does amarok support this? If not, can it?

Thanks!

Amarok RULEZ!

Update: Okay, I\'m an idiot. I was told that the checkmarks do what I said they did, but apparently they are for something else, and have nothing to do with shuffle mode.

If anyone knows what they\'re for, or how to prevent certain tracks from being included in the shuffle, please let me know.

Thanks

Just use the smart playlists or create a playlist at all (maybe a dynamic one) for such a purpose.
