amaroK 1.4-Beta3

Mon Apr 10, 2006 3:19 pm
Hi, amarok 1.4 - beta3 rocks here.
The sound quality was never so good like this version (with xine engine). Great job.
How can we activate the gstreamer10 engine?
At this moment everything is running perfekt. (installed with guru rpm packages for suse10 x86)

Is there no RPM for Mandriva yet?  I see Beta2 in there now.

I would guess beta4 or rc1 or something is right around the corner, so wouldn't worry about getting beta3 if you're on beta2 now.  anybody know when the next release is?  it's been a month since beta3, and beta2 and beta3 were about a month apart, that's why i'm supposing the next version is soon... especially since development of amarok is so fast.

Our schedule is: Start of release preparations on May 14 (creating RC tarball, etc), 1.4.0 release on May 17 if everything goes smooth.

gstreamer10 engine will not be in 1.4 final, keep using xine.
