I wrote a python based lyrics plugin which searches a local-folder for lyrics stored in .txt files.

To do that I wrote a dcop-python-api (using the shelltool dcop), a kdialog-python-api and a amarok-plugin-api (acces amaroc by dcop, make a plugin very easy be subclassing Plugin or LyricsPlugin).
