Storing wikipedia files

Tue May 30, 2006 3:11 pm
Hi

I love the little extras you can add about an artist in Amarok such as the album title, song lyrics and wikipedia articles.  Some of this is stored locally on my machine - album files and lyrics for example.  It would be nice if I could store the wiki pages as well since I spend a lot of time away from a net connection while using amarok (on the train for example).

Of course not everyone would want this feature as it could use up a lot of disk space but would it be possible to add some sort of tick-box in the configuration menu that would allow one to enable local storage of wiki-files?

Thanks very much,
Mike

once visited, this info is in your kde tmp.
unfortunately amaroK does not have an OFFline button yet, however, wikipedia is available on DVD. perhaps you are able to point it there?
