whast is the difference between ratings and score. Cause in mode when its in random you can pick it to favor either ratings or score. I am assuming rating is what i  rate the song? and score is what the score of the song is by how amarok calculated it. If this is right how do i rate a song? By the way i am using 1.4

That's right.
Maybe you have to enable rating in the settings: Configure Amarok -> General [Components] -> [ ] Use ratings
Then the rating column should show up. Otherwise, you just have to add it.
