Is there any way to seek in a remote mp3 eg. as in XMMS? when trying to do this in amarok, the stream jumps back just to the place where is was...I don't want to start another player just for this feature...

xine-lib doesn't currently support it, but we're working together with a xine dev and hope to make this work. It would be very nice to have, I agree.

Do you mean a 'go back in the stream' type of system? That would be freaking awesome.

May I also suggest that once xine-lib supports it, being able to set how much of the stream should be cached in the preferences? That'd be one of the coolest features ever.
