Sort by folders

Sat Jul 01, 2006 6:16 pm
Hi everyone!

There is one thing, that I'm missing in Amarok since i've **** off windows. The thing is feature called "Sort by folders". It's very useful when you have a music collection, that contains more than 7000 songs and there's a lot of soundtracks and "Various Artists" albums. So why don't the developers try to include this feature to one of the "beta-versions" and see what will people say about it?

I think this should be possible in 1.4.0 (can't check because I'm running SVN). Right click the header for one of the columns and under "Show Column" activate Directory. Then just click the Directory column to sort by it, and Bob should be your uncle.
