Now the 'mark as compilation' is gone, and when i 'add to various artists' i still get all of these artists appearing in the artist list under collection.  Is there a way to get them to not appear in seperate artist sections any longer, and just in the various artist section, like 1.4.0 ?

same for me. I've a (spanish) Queen tribute album and I've got it in Various artists and every artist on it's own, which is very annoying. So please tell us how to prevent it. If it's a bug, I know it will be corrected, but if it's a feature, then it's a bug:wink:.

This was changed again in SVN, so wait for the new version. There's also a bug report on the various-artists behavior on bugzilla (i forgot the number, but you should find it easily).
