As far as I understand is, there is (unfortunately) not yet a really "sync" between the music database on the computer and the music on a portable device (e.g. iPod). But, on the other hand, I have the options to kind of sync playcounts and ratings when setting up a portable device in Amarok(which didn't seem to work for me, however).

This I don't understand: If you can sync playcounts and so on, why can't other attributes be synced, too?

And, another question, now with ATF enabled, how are the chances that a real sync with portables - including playlists and so on - will be made possible?
