OK, well I've built my collection and re-built etc...

No matter what I'e done, I still get to listing in my collection the Doors, The.

I've even gone thru the hassel of making sure every single id3 tag is correct. No matter what I try I get a duplicate artist listed in my collection,

ex. collection list  sorted artist/album

+Bob
+Chico, The
+Chico, The
+doda

anyway to get rid of duplicate entries in the collection list, NOT the playlist ??

You don't say which version of amarok you're using. IIRC, this is a very old issue.

sorry about that, it's version 1.3.7 (KDE 3.5.2)

You will probably find that upgrading amarok to 1.4.1 or later will fix any problems you're currently having.
