Sorry for the basic question...
I have a central media server (fileserver) with all my mp3 files on. from it I stream music to linux, windows, an xbox (xbmc) and my ipod. I have allways organised my music by use of the directory structures. But now I would like to use the ID3 tags.
How does amarok use, update and sync the id3 tags ?
I know that when I sync the amarok database (mysql) it will read the existing mp3 files and id3 tags.
What happens when I get information from musicbrainz ? the info will by written to mysql but not to the id3 tag ?
Is there a way to update the id3 tags ?
are there addins or plugins for amarok that will update it as an music manager (for id3 tags) ?
