Hi all,

I have a dual soundcard setup. I intend to link one soundcard to my living room amplifier and the other to my study room speakers for local sound like games, etc.

I'm using Amarok 1.4.3 on Gentoo 2006.1 with the Xine engine (output to alsa). How can I direct the output of Amarok to a specific soundcard? I want the output of Amarok to my living room basically, and it should be the only app in my system to output there.

Sorry this is not really a Amarok question but I was hoping some of you might have a similar setup as I have.

In the configuration dialog under "Engine" you can set the alsa device (set the "default" to something appropriate)
