How to delete duplicate files?

Sun Oct 15, 2006 4:54 pm
Hello,

i searched for a function, or plugin for amarok to delete the duplicate files in my collection. Is there a way to? I found no way.
If there is no function, or plugin: How do you do this?

Thanks

I think a cleanup collection function would be a real cool feature!
I don't think amarok has something like that yet...

Amarok 2.0 Beta from KDE-on-Mac.

What do you mean with duplicates?
You have files that are binary identical? Or just the same song but maybe in different samplers or qualities?

I think best for me would be: All binary identical files could be deleted without looking. All files with same title should be asked for delete same as all files with same metas.
