I want to use AmaroK with a remote control.

I may be being really stupid but, I need a way of switching between the playlist, the collection and, possibly, the lyrics widgets (I think I'm using widget appropriately).

All I can find in the dcop docs is things to do in each widget but not a way to switch between them.

Can anyone help

did you had a look to kdcop ?

it helps me to write some shell scripts for loading playlist. If you want to I can send you some samples when I come home.

I faced the same prblem while setting up my remote - it's possible to switch from playlist to the collection browser using TAB, but not the other way around. There's a bug report: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=86729 -- you can vote for it (as I did).

BTW, switching between tabs can be accomplished by using Ctrl + 1/2/3/4/5
