Progression bar

Sun Nov 05, 2006 4:19 pm
Hi

I wonder if there is a way to change the "Progression bar" (at the bottom right)
When I listen to a podcast I often want to rewind or forward 30 seconds in the music. This bar is not very easy to use for me, is there a way to configure it or to change it ?

Bye

Isn't there a possibility to do this via a keyboard command? If there isn't you could do it via a dcop call assigned to a keyboard shortcut. Too bad there isn't the possibility to add generic actions to be defined by the user to a toolbar or menu in Amarok.

Bye, tira.

A keyboard command (that forwards by a user defined time) is possible with khotkeys. Just use the dcop call "amarok player seekRelative "

So, to forward 30 seconds: dcop amarok player seekRelative +30

There is another option in Amarok -> Settings -> Configure Global Shortcuts -> Seek Forward
that you can give a try.
