Guys,
Let me say that Amarok is quite amazing and it is really encouraging to see an OSS solution of this high quality. I'm curious if you're familiar with the vcddb (http://vcddb.konni.com/?v=3) project? Basically vcddb is a slick web based DVD management solution. I'm curious if you guys ever thought about developing a web frontend to amarok's mySQL database like that? I really love amarok but I only have 1 linux machine at the house and I'm rarely ever there. Even if the web frontend did nothing but allow me to search and browse the database, it would be awesome to be able to reach it from work, from my windows machines, and allow friends to search my database of CDs. Just a suggestion... Thanks, T3 |

There is already some third party solution for that around (wabarok comes to my mind). If you have a look at kde-apps.org - Multimedia - Amarok scripts you may find more.
Bye, tira. |
