Most songs have a built-in fade out. There is usually 3-5 seconds of decreasing volume at the end of a track. This combined with various cross fading options makes for nice personal listening. However, I would like to get a club or mixed effect where tracks change more quickly with less fade.

Is there a way to configure Amarok (or a script?) so that it will skip or seek past the last few seconds of a track so that track changes can be more rapid and remove the track's own fade?

I'd be surprised if this functionality didn't already exist but, I can't figure out how to make it happen.
