Hi
Got the latest Amarok rpm, and yay Xine supports CDDB lookups for CD's. Unfortunately it isnt working, and when I run Amarok from a terminal, and try to get the CDDB lookup for any CD's I put in I get this error: amarok: ERROR: : couldn't create slave : Unable to create io-slave: klauncher said: Unknown protocol 'cdda'. Amarok is playing all my other media and getting names, just not CD's Hints anyone? This is my setup: Amarok 1.4.4 CDDB Settings in Amarok Default device - /dev/hda CDDB Server - freedb.freedb.org CDDB cache directory - /home/quentin/.cddb/rock/ Funny thing is, that the CDDB is working, in the CDDB cache directory are the CDDB lookups for all the CD's I have tested, aka belgarion:/home/quentin/.cddb/rock # cat ac0c2d0e # Revision: 8 DISCID=ac0c2d0e DTITLE=My Chemical Romance / The Black Parade DYEAR=2006 DGENRE=Rock TTITLE0=The End TTITLE1=Dead!
