Music list

Is there anyway to generate a list of the music in Amaroks library and import it into a spread sheet?

Thanks

You can for example query amarok's database.

check for amarok scripts that may do this -  either browse using Amarok's built-in script manager, or go to http://kde-apps.org

Importing it into a spreadsheet should be easy if you get the database dropped as a CSV File.
For the query you can have a look at amacollex, something I wrote that currently only works with mysql (I should port it to use dcop I guess).
In the amacollex files you'll find a "SELECT .." query which is the one you need.

The query can be send to the database directly or through a dcop call like this:
Code: Select all
dcop amarok collection query "INSERT_QUERY_HERE"
