Due to physical constraints, I cannot wear my headphones with the left side on the left and the right on the right. Is there a way to tell Amarok to switch the stereo channels? If not, does anyone know of a way to tell ALSA to do it?

Maybe xine can do that. Or alsa, as you said. Have you searched for it?
