Wondering if possible!

Fri Mar 16, 2007 1:28 am
Im planning on migrating Ubuntu to my desktop, and thus dual-booting. *shudders* But, one thing keeping me back from migrating is Amarok. Now, I know a Windows version is coming out which is fine and dandy...BUT I want to know if it is possible to do this.

First, I have my music organized in what I call a Library. (I also keep videos, downloads, torrents, etc. in this Library) Now, in the Audio folder, has separate folders for artists, and in those folders for albums. But, I know that the database that Amarok keeps is relative to the path, right? But, if its possible to share it between windows and linux Amarok.

Like, I put it on an NTFS partition, that way windows can read it. And I know Linux can read NTFS, so if the database can be shared, so no matter which OS I boot, I can listen to my ROCK!!!! ATREYU! :D But seriously, is it possible?
