I have a remote server withour xorg/X11 or Amarok installed. It contains my mp3 archive and mysql database and I would like to build my Amarok database  on this host without installing xorg/X11. Is this posible? How?

It's not possible currently. You can run the collection scanner binary without X (amarokcollectionscanner), but it's purely a scanner; It will not update the collection database. For this Amarok itself is required.

OK, it would be great to have a tool for this. Guess it wold not be to difficult either. Sadly my programing skills are minor.
