every once in a while an error will pop up saying that the mail client failed to open. then i try to close the error and i have to quit out of amarok and restart it.  does anyone know why this happens? and how to stop it from happening??  thanks

This actually means that Amarok has crashed. We're opening the default email client to send an automated bug report.

Since I don't know what's specifically causing the crashes for you, I recommend upgrading to the latest stable release (1.4.5), if you haven't done so already.
