Curious about Amarok on the PC and Rockbox on the iPod. Got tired of iTunes.... in that it doesn't run 7.0.x on Linux, so I put Rockbox on.
Works fine. Wonder whether it should be defined as simply a Generic MP3 Player in this case - in which case it doesn't seem to mount so well. When mounted as an Apple iPod, it copies all the music to iTunes locations on the iPod. This is NOT the idea.

Rockbox seems to suggest that files should be copied to the rockbox machine simply using Konqueror and the iTunes folders deleted.

Any suggestions?
