I got Amarok to install from Fink, but with Xine, there were problems with gstreamer, it's now working great!!!! it's so awesomely better than iTunes or Songbird (well, except a few nice features from the second).

However, it's impossible to use the global Amarok keyboard shortcut when you don't have X11 focused. For the same reason, the Amarok OSD doesn't work properly.

For those interested, I developed triggers to control Amarok from the keyboard anywhere in OSX, without having to focus X11. There is also a nicer OSD staying on top of everything and a Amarok.app launcher application (thank you Platypus).

I left a not in the discussion of the WiKi page, I am not sure how the process work down there.

I also added blueprints to control Amarok with Apple Remote and Griffin's AirClick USB wireless remotes. I am working on a logitech keyboard blueprint too.
