Install Plugin Problem

Sat Aug 18, 2007 2:34 pm
When trying to install transcodeing plugin I get a message that ithe plugin is already installed and that I should un-install it;
But it does NOT show up as an installed plugin and there is no option to un-install it.

Tried uninstalling and re-installing amarok, but that did not correct problem

How do I get this fixed.

Maybe it helps if you remove the files of the plugin manually. Look in your home directory in .kde/share/apps/amarok for the folders scripts and scripts-data. Remove what is part of the transcode plugin in those two. If you don't see the hidden .kde folder, enable to show hidden folders in the View menu of Konqueror.

Bye, Val.
