When trying to install transcodeing plugin I get a message that ithe plugin is already installed and that I should un-install it;
But it does NOT show up as an installed plugin and there is no option to un-install it. Tried uninstalling and re-installing amarok, but that did not correct problem How do I get this fixed. Gary |

Maybe it helps if you remove the files of the plugin manually. Look in your home directory in .kde/share/apps/amarok for the folders scripts and scripts-data. Remove what is part of the transcode plugin in those two. If you don't see the hidden .kde folder, enable to show hidden folders in the View menu of Konqueror.
