I'm Amarok 1.4.5 and I was wondering if Amarok can scan for new Podcasts on startup. At the moment I have to manually click on each subscribed podcast and check for updates. Have I missed a setting that allows this or should I request this feature?

The only thing you can currently do is to configure the refetch-period.
